Koons: The Gucci Ad and Odie Cases

Use of the Gucci ad image in the set of legs second from the
left in "Niagara" was found to be fair use in Blanch v. Koons,
467 F.3d 244 (2d. Cir. 2006).


Koons use of the Odie-like figure in "Wild Boy and Puppy" was
found to be an infringement in United Feature Syndicate v.
Koons, 817 F.Supp. 370 (S.D.N.Y. 1993).
